DESCRIPTION:Folknet’s Music in the Valley at Hale Farm & Village\nSaturday\, July 12\, 2025 & Sunday\, July 13\, 2025⋅10:00am – 4:00pm \nAs in the past\, musicians should be granted free admission by following these guidelines (which this year include signing a code of conduct at the entrance):\n1. All musicians must enter through the designated Folknet entrance (wherever the staff at Hale Farm & Village places that Folknet entrance) and sign in upon arrival.\n2. Only musicians carrying their instruments will be granted complimentary admission. This may include singers with songbooks or dancers with appropriate footwear and boards.\n3. All other guests must pay general admission through the Gatehouse. \nThere will also be a Folknet General Membership meeting at 3:00 PM on Saturday near the musician’s entrance. This weekend event highlights the rich history and evolution of folk music with live performances throughout our historic site. \nEnjoy a harmonious blend of: \nLive Musical Performances: Experience the best of folk music with talented artists performing throughout the day across our scenic grounds. \nLocal Food History: Savor delicious local cuisine and learn about the culinary heritage of our region. \nHistoric Demonstrations: Step back in time with engaging demonstrations that showcase traditional crafts and skills. \nOhio Wine Tastings: Sample a selection of fine wines from local Ohio vineyards. \n \nFolknet members are invited to join us with an instrument for jam and song circles throughout the grounds. \nMusic has long been a cherished tradition at the Hale Family homestead\, and we’re thrilled to continue this legacy with our Music in the Valley Folk & Wine Festival! In partnership with Folknet\, this weekend celebration showcases the history and evolution of folk music\, featuring live performances throughout our historic site. Enjoy the rich blend of music\, local food history\, historical demonstrations\, and Ohio wine tastings\, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Hale Farm.
