SUMMARY:Grady Miller for Folknet's Mountain Rose
DESCRIPTION:Cathy Towns Grady (formerly Miller - now the band name makes sense!) is a songwriter\, vocalist\, and fiddler\, with a wide range of styles and influences. Her powerful alto voice commands an audience and her soulful songwriting brings the crowd in close. She blends blues\, folk\, and country into her own unique style.Michael Grady is an award-winning\, accomplished songwriter whose dexterity on the guitar (any instrument with frets\, really) has made him a powerhouse in the studio and on stage. His writing is thoughtful\, powerful\, and doesn’t fit into any one genre. Guitar\, mandolin\, banjo…whatever instrument has the right voice is the one that takes center stage. His lyrics are timely\, funny\, heartbreaking\, tender\, and engaging.Together\, Grady Miller creates a powerful blend of styles that captivates audiences with their variety and intensity. Their lyrics speak to the soul and take you along on a journey through the stories of life. They freely move between Folk\, Rock\, and Blues to Country and Irish fiddling\, but the essence of their sound lies at the crossroads of the Americana and Singer-Songwriter genres.
